“The Power of Latinos Telling Their Stories”

Award-winning Director of the Rochester Latino Theatre and arts educator, Annette Ramos has devoted her career to ensuring equitable educational and artistic opportunities for emergent bilingual learners from around the world. It is her mission to advocate for greater opportunities for Latino students. Ms. Ramos is a committed arts leader who has received numerous awards for her work, including the Latinas Unidas Leadership Award for 2014. As Executive Director of the Rochester Latino Theatre Company (RLTC) and Latino Arts and Cultural Consultant for the Ibero-American Action League, Ms. Ramos is active in the Rochester Arts community and recently co-produced a TEDxFlourCity Latino-themed Salon night.
