 Professor Ryan will focus on modern Mexican history and issues of gender and sexuality in the formation of Mexican national identity, citizenship, and social movements. His presentation will trace the various “erotic revolutions” ongoing in Mexico during the long twentieth century and the intersections between sexuality, gender, citizenship, politics, and culture in Mexico.

The program is free and open to the public; the church is handicapped accessible and looped for the hearing impaired.
