Sanctions Kill: Nicaragua in the Era of US Sanctions

We are honored to present our next ROCLA speaker, Mr. Jaime Hermida Castillo, who currently serves as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nicaragua to the UN, and previously was Deputy Permanent Representative of Nicaragua to the United Nations since March 2007. He began his diplomatic career in 1979. He will speak on the issue of the severe impacts of current US sanctions against Nicaragua. Mr. Hermida also serves Chief Negotiator of Nicaragua for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement.
