On behalf of the Alianza Agricola, an organization representing New York State immigrant farmworkers, we want to invite you to join us on Tuesday October 8th, 7-8:30pm at the Unitarian Church, 220 Winton Rd South, to hear about how you can continue to be involved in helping the Alianza grow our organization and fight for immigrant farmworkers’ rights.
The Alianza Agricola recently won a hard-fought victory in the state legislature to obtain access to drivers licenses for undocumented immigrants. Alianza’s Green Light campaign achieved this major goal, one which will greatly help protect undocumented immigrants from detention and deportation.
Now the Green Light Allies group and the Alianza are in a time of transition as we determine new priorities and new organizational structures. Come hear about what is new and what is on the horizon and how you can best continue to support the work of the group.
